Welcome to Water Hose Ministries, where our mission is to live out Ephesians 4:11-16:
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
The Holy Spirit has called us to train and equip the saints!
We are so blessed that you stopped by, and hope you come back soon
Encounter the Cross
The ENCOUNTER THE CROSS was started in World Prayer Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with Pastor Larry Stockstill. Dorman Duggan at New Life Restoration in Hereford, Texas, and a group of people from that congregation were seeking how to do home groups. In this process we discovered the Encounters and started them as part of the base path to leadership. Part of the World Prayer Center congregation came to Hereford and trained us how to start them in our area. We did Encounters for five years in the Hereford area and saw many people saved and set free.
Then God called us to Lubbock in 2000, and we started the Encounters in the Lubbock area. God has blessed this effort as we are now doing five Encounters a year in the Lubbock area. Curtis Ward is doing four per year in the Sweetwater area. We have trained leaders in South Africa, Thailand and Transnistria as well, where people are being blessed. Our format is with men and women sitting in equal table groups, where discussion can happen after each talk. This is where most ministry takes place, as people share personal experiences of how the Great Exchange has exchange them. All of the talks are directed to who Jesus has paid for us to be through the Holy Spirit. Come join us to see what Jesus has for you!
